In a nutshell

Natasa at Cute Little Paper

Hello, I’m Natasa (NataΕ‘a, to be precise), the one & only person behind the Cute Little Paper.

I’m super-determined to help busy moms conquer overwhelm, get focus, and create a system to nail down the work-life balance (guilt-free).

My friends (and now you) know that I’m a mom of two little ones, a molecular biologist by profession, a curious want-to-know-everything person by interests, and a productivity/ organization freak by behavior (meant in a good way, of course…). I love goofing around with my kids, creativity, crafts, travel, coffee, and sleep (yep, you never know how much those average little things mean until you’re deprived of them. …Glory to the one who’s discovered coffee!). πŸ™‚ I also believe that anything can be done with a little (or maybe little more) help of paper (and a pencil, scissors, glue…They work so well together, don’t they?).

The content I create here is dedicated to helping you be more productive, get those goals busted and make more time in your life to enjoy the sweet little things (which life is all about). Sprinkled with inspiration, motivation, and creativity along the way! πŸ˜‰

Oh, and one more thing! I’m so delighted to meet you!

I’m inviting you to visit my freebies section (consider it as a gift to you), or you can browse the blog categories and articles.

The “How” the Cute Little Paper was created…

I always loved to write, draw, craft, create, organize, make plans… Somehow along the way, I got caught in the everyday routine (and don’t ask me why, ’cause I really don’t know). And, for a long period of time, I lived reactively, responding to the events as they happened. On top of all, that life didn’t include the things which made me happy in the past (only the planning and the organization part were still there). The worst of all is I didn’t even realize that I miss them.

As it appeared, the turning point in my life was the two-year period packed with unpleasant events. I divorced and moved with two little kids, a number of health issues pressed me and my close family members (at times it seemed to me like I was constantly at the ER or at the doctor’s office), and everything culminated with the death of my uncle and, a half year later, my father.

It was this tough period that has made me question myself. About myself, about the future, about the purpose and meaning of life, about real values, and about many other things which I haven’t thought of for years.

What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger, they say. And in my case, they’re right. Although those were the dark and painful times, I emerged out of them with the strength I even didn’t know I have, more determined, focused, optimistic and peaceful.

It became clear to me that I wanted (and needed) an additional purpose to life, not just to be a mother and have a standard office (or better say lab) job. But also something creative, something I deeply enjoy doing, something which would be an extra reason to look forward to in each day, something that people would find useful and helpful.

… And the “Why”

So the Cute Little Paper was born, as the union of the things that inspire and motivate me, that I like, and believe in. (My daughter was the one who gave the name, though. πŸ™‚ )

I believe we are all able to create a life in which we’ll lead a thriving business, wake up each morning with a passion and a plan, grow both professionally and personally, while also being a mom our children will be proud of, and still take care of ourselves in the process.

It is my desire that what you’ll find here:

  • will be useful to you;
  • will help you flourish both personally and professionally;
  • will motivate you to make every day count;
  • will make you feel like you can conquer the world (because… you know what? you actually can!).

Instead of conclusion

What else can I say? This road is now new to me, and I don’t know where it will lead me. But I have the confidence to believe that the things that will happen will be good. And that this quest will make an impact and a meaning, maybe for you, maybe for someone else. And if at least one person finds Cute Little Paper useful or inspiring, my goal’s achieved. (of course, the more, the merrier!) πŸ™‚

Wishing you all the best,
